F Vail

Looks like the collective outrage combined with the continuing mid-winter conditions in these parts have them reevaluating their spring operations. Glacier and Showcase are both open today.

Did someone post this already? Long with a commercial at the end. But very informative.

That was rough. We are big pass next year as spouse wants soft Colo snow at Xmas, and 4 days at Copper pays for the Ikon pass (sound familiar?)

Just watched it. Well done. It's sad the way Vail corporation drains the life out of a community. Wonder if anything could be done to stop them?

Stop using their product.
Easier said than done. To be effective it would have to be en masse. Most are blissfully unaware of the negative impact on local communities and mom and pop business. An education campaign might help, others will never care.

Workers need to revolt. Stop working where they can't afford to live. It'd be fun to watch the part time residents that spent $5M on a home they use a few weeks a year and how they'd cope without labor to run things.

Next we look at the leases on public lands. A moratorium on further permitting of Vail. End their ability to grow using public resources. Cut the dragon's head off.

Get them dealt with like a monopoly.
