F Vail

Maybe, but effectively renting boots that fit is most likely beyond any currently available app method.
FIFY
Vail will do just as poorly with boots as every other delivery service. The advantage of the app is that they have the customer’s credit card before their competitors can answer the phone.

Dang marketing peeps taking folks $ and then give ‘em boots that may work in a pinch.
Have fun with that.

Closing the Glacier Chair isn’t a huge deal as it is redundant as long as 7th Heaven is running, but closing the Blackcomb Gondi (especially on a powder day when conditions are the best they’ve been all season) is just stupid.

It’s such a shame. Vail could actually make some money from W/B in the spring if they actually tried. The population has exploded in the region, and it has an elevation/latitude advantage over the limited competition that’s left operating. Quality spring operations could also be a way to convert Edge Card holders (for WA and BC residents) to the Epic Pass.

Their “analytics” hasn’t a clue about ski mountain ops.
A monkey throwing darts has a better chance to more efficiently operate the mountains they “own".
