Is total vertical integration becoming a thing these days? E.g. for years, Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio was imported by Tony Terlato. Now it's "Santa Margherita Imports." Many more examples of this. A way of eliminating one of the middle men?

I!d say so. All the brokers and middlemen are getting squeezed out it seems.starting small from scratch and breaking through is much harder then it used to be.

Love the play on words. Back in the day, Winebow had a quite nice hard cider from Brittany imported by Europvin. Came in a bottle, cork finish, wire hood.

Pinch has a loyal following within a certain demographic. It’s fans always talk about how smooth it is. I say give it a shot and if you don’t like it add coke or ginger ale
