Driving in NY

I have a theory: Even if you're going 80 mph and you never keep right, you're part of the problem.
yes, always get in the right lane. The left lane is for passing. If merging back and forth Is too stressful or you, then just admit your limitations and surrender your license. Some people were born to be passengers.

Returning from Pineridge XC last week. Guy going 60 in the left f'n lane. And they're clueless that they're causing a traffic jam.

That's actually a fact. ;-)

If I am going 80 and somebody is coming up fast on me, I will try like hell to get out of the way. However, there is no way I am slowing down to 65 to get into the right lane to get out of your way.

OMG my wife is a left lane driver and it drives me bat shit crazy. She doesn’t get it at all and we have big fights about it. She turns her mirrors in so she’s not blinded by the people tailgating her. I’m terrified of the road rage people have when they pass her. Someone obliviously traveling in the left lane is not good, brake checking them after passing is much worse.

"Campers", I call them, they are the bane of my existence. The semi drivers are the worst, they will pull out from behind a fellow trucker on hills and go 1 mph faster than the guy they're passing, what's the point? Happens all the time. Even worse when they STAY in the passing lane after passing their buddy.

Yeah I replaced the head gasket on thew most recent Subie. Still uses oil.
2011 Legacy here. I've owned 5 Subarus pleased with all of them. My 04 Outback had 350,000 miles on it when it was wrecked by a texting driver while stopped at a school crossing. All made it over 200,000 miles. The 11 has 220,000 and I just replaced the head gasket. It is starting to consume oil at bit but...220,000 miles!

My Honda Ridgeline has been great so far..rides like a car..and yes you can use it like a truck. Although some say you can't..i guess if your hauling elephants..or something. I don't haul elephants..usually skis...

I'm jealous, the most I ever got was 243k on my '03, but the last 3 months I had it, I didn't trust it.
