Where are the flying cars?

Ok, I’ll accept that as a first step but it’s more of a personal recreational aircraft than a practical point to point transportation tool. A flying car needs to land in a mall parking lot into a reasonable sized spot and not risk decapitating any bystanders. Also, I’m not sure that 20 minutes endurance is enough for most folks. It’s bettter than the previous “the flying car has arrived” hoaxes though, and better than the jet packs that can only fly for like ninety seconds at a time.

$92,000- not bad compared to RV or super car prices

You can get one as a homebuilt kit. What could go wrong?
I worked with a German engineer who had a saying when customers would want a production line to produce two fairly different products, "When you build a flying submarine it isn't a very good plane or boat. It doesnt fly or swim very well"
I think these things aren't very good cars or planes.

Do the wings fold in for driving?
