Tidbits from the west for resorts I happen to be paying attention to . . .
Meanwhile Hwy 210 up to Alta/Snowbird re-opened mid-morning. It closed the evening before and Interlodge was put in place. I'll be skiing in Utah next week, but not in LCC.
Taos closed all lifts by lunch time. Winds expected to be 90 mph at the highest elevations. A retired friend from the southeast has a seasonal rental in town. It was an easy decision yesterday to not bother to make the drive this morning. We know a bunch of people who are headed to Taos this weekend.
Wolf Creek never opened on Feb. 22. One factor is that CODOT closed the road from the South Fork side due to low visibility and high winds.
Jason, you used to bring good news . . . . I know I rationally cannot blame the messenger.
PS charging. a breeze on NY's system. Just completed a 500 mile round trip with three high speed charges (one or two were necessary, the rest were to evaluate the stop locales) - Saratoga, Clifton Park, Schroon Lake. Boom. Will post about it.
TLDR - I was not crying like the dude in your scary video with the Hummer. I was smiling and giggling. And eating and drinking.
