Winter Weather 22/23

Skiing and riding will continue to be suboptimal

I believe this is true no matter what. Whether we adapt or not.

IMO that alone is not a good reason not to try. Shit can get fixed.

This is my own two cents as Harv, not the moderator of this place.

I wouldn't be surprised if most all here agreed:

Climate should not be political
Climate is political

A handful are pushing the limits a bit more subtly and some are right out there. If you are wondering, yes it's you. :D Still this thread is fascinating to me, I'm learning.

Back to moderator Harv:

WTF do I do. I can't exactly lock the winter weather thread, and I'm not breaking out a climate thread.

I made a friend this season skiing. A guy who has contributed to the forum for long time, but we'd never skied together until this year. Any one who has been here a long time may know how others lean from the politics years. I think we both new we came from different places. We had a great time ripping and it absolutely didn't matter. If we could come at it like that... but honestly I don't think we can. It only takes one can of gas.

Honestly we all know the secret.

@jasonwx - I'm hoping to use my Indy Pass to go on a last minute 1 week ski safari through northern VT and Maine. I know there is no crystal ball, but what's your gut towards doing it this upcoming week or rolling the dice and waiting for the week after?

Looks like this upcoming week is going to be fairly dry and brutally cold up there. Of course the way this winter is going I risk r*in the following week if I wait.
Dude rain is done until April.

@jasonwx can you make a call for Sunday? Cats, Daks, CNY and VT?

Please!

You going Sunday TJ?
