Winter Weather 22/23

also worth mentioning, winds are going to be absolutely insane. Power outages are likely tomorrow into the weekend.
At least for the Dacks the window of rain with the current system seems to be shorting, with the potential for a fair amount of base building slop. So, it may not be as bad as previously advertised (50 with inches of ncp)….until next week?

i think we will be ok, there will def be some melt and a lot of rain but there will be some new snow which may absorb some if it.

Yeah my Ikon is mainly for my couple planned western trips for sure. The west is a skiers dream right now.

However I certainly hope to use it at Sugarbush, Killington or Tremblant. Maybe take a first time trip to Stratton. Windham is my closest ikon mountain at 3:50 drive. Any love or dislike here for Windham? I never see much discussion here about Windham.

This storm will be fascinating to watch. Hope everyone here and their families stay safe.
I enjoyed Stratton and Windham using Ikon when I was wandering around the northeast anyway. Was more impressed with Windham than I expected. Of course, I went midweek so lift lines weren't an issue.

I know a family of advanced skiers from NYC who have been skiing Taos for decades who chose Stratton as their "home mountain" before the parents retired. Still go there during early season.

Skied Windham today last min
With buddy pass they spanked me for 126$. What a joke
On me

As far as weather goes
Next 10-14 days will be warm
After the flash freeze
