Windham Mountain Going Private?

Windham’s flatness is exaggerated. It’s like Bell- the black runs are steep on the upper part of the hill with a blue runout
I kind of agree with this, but the place has a negative vibe... also the skiing just doesn't flow...

sorry Harv
You can be sorry. I'm not. It's no secret that I am not exactly "normal." I know it, you know it. Why is it I would go back to Italy? I've already been there. In fact. I want to go back and do EXACTLY the same thing I did last time, hiking in Tuscany. I like to do the same things over and over.

Why don't you uphill or nordic ski Jason? Winter camping?* You are missing out on a lot of great experiences.

(*maybe you do those things, I am just making an example.)

True to some extent. The top 25% of Belle is relatively steep, the top 10% of Windham is relatively steep.

Where did you source those numbers from?
I made them up! 🤠

But still. The steep part at Belle is more vert then the steep part at Windham. At least on the mountain that is on skiers left.

ok maybe not the world.. take the tram to the top of snowbird or jackson or squaw valley etc...Ive walked up enough mountains with snow shoes and boots...and dirt /sand / snow slept...
Just saying there is more then the north east...
but that's me..
by the way , i hate flying and airport

but that's me..
Precisely. But it's not me.

In fairness, that's not just you, it's most people.

I've skied Squaw. I stayed in a five star resort for two weeks (2x) on the client's dime. Spring skiing both times except for one powder day, not huge maybe 10 inches. Probably cost (the client) $20 grand. I did a shot that was $245 on the menu. It was fun enough. I had a much better time, for far less, skiing hut-to-hut in Summit county.

No sure why, but I don't feel the pull of LCC. Pow Mow I would fly for, if someone would guide me. But not Alta.
