62 from my front door, if you were to do it from the Tap bike path parking on 287 in Nyack and skip the bit through Jersey and Piermont you'd wind up with about 40 miles total.

Pretty flat for that kinda mileage, 2200' for the full 62 miles thanks to most of it being on old rail grades or aqueduct infrastructure.

On my ride I've got 3 little roofs I can get under if it starts to pour.

It's actually 4 roofs. Never noticed this one.

It poured for a hot minute yesterday but even so overnight the Creek is down and very low.

Perfect day for a longer MTB ride, gusty enough to keep the satellite bugs away and hero dirt from yesterdays rain. This particular ridge line is one of my favorite places around, so far it's been spared from the gypsy moth infestation we are seeing in other areas of the highlands region.
