"Check the road(s)" is in fact UpState wisdom.
In The UpState lake effect snow bands can be hard to predict on a bluebird day.
Can make a big difference even on short drive.

FYI, DOT just postponed the planned closure on Saturday.
Junior lives in UpState Utahh and is 98 years young,
