The Ugh Thread

In the excitement I don't need department: Had to replace the water pipe coming from the village main into my house. Thank goodness for homeowner's insurance.

I had to explain to the Florida based insurance adjuster, this is a different country. People don't give you an estimate. Not because they want to take ya to the cleaners, but because they don't know what they're gonna find.

Final foto: I didn't know that my cat moonlighted as a DPW inspector.

If you're in the Tri-Lakes and you need stuff done, I'm most happy with Snickles. Strongly recommend.

Speaking of ugh, along with the injury and now home care of Blue Toes documented elsewhere, we now have a bit of a septic emergency here at SBRHQ. Was planning to get the tank pumped in August but apparently we need it pumped NOW. Dude is coming tomorrow, we are on low flushing and low water down the drain mandates, so far so good.

Ya know, when I bought a house in the village, I thought, town water and sewer. At least that's 2 fewer systems that could go wrong. Well, I learned.

Oh been there done that fortunately it WAS the city's problem not ours cuz the issue was between sidewalk and curb .

Oh man SBR that sux canal water I mean coupled with BT's recovery and this abominable humid weather we are undergoing.

Hang in there 💪

Whoever set the borders... OMG. I'm in Harrietstown, in Franklin County. Mt Pisgah, the municipally owned alpine bump, is in the town of Saint Armand in Essex County. Fogarty's Marina is in North Elba in Essex County. 🙄

Ugh I'm out of action for a week have a Holter Monitor on for 7 days for AFib

and to top that off they found a Second Aneurysm this on my Aorta near the kidney to go along with the one in my groin.

I guess I probably had that one awhile too ,just gotta stay positive this ain't my first rodeo💪.

They told me it's ok to play golf and do my trail walking with the Monitor on ,but I'm taking a week off from golf strictly sticking to our trails

We did a walk around The Fort and Lighthouse Point trails this am felt great ,twas a brisk breeze at 57 degrees on the St Larry this am tho

Every day is a banquet ! Just gotta keep movin' can't let chit get ya down
