The Storm Skiing Journal comes down hard on ORDA

NY state does not have enough money to pay off the Olympic whores and their "Olympic " requirements. The Federal govt does not financially participate in this type of boondoggle. They have their own boondoggles to operate.

I've forgotten the politics of the Olympics
 
Yeah the bid with the IOC would have to be either a "Take it with our existing infrastructure" or go find another dictatorship to host your games.

The only bids “on" the table at the end for the 2022 games were China and Kazakhstan, so there’s that.

Which is kind of why I think a bid like the "New York" olympics can work. The IOC will have to decide between pairing it down or being a pageant for despots.
