Heard today someone had sliced a shot into the parking lot on Friday & it smashed out a window in his car. Dang.
I wondered why he hadn’t come into the 19th hole after our round. He had to take it to get it repaired.

Just back from weird round at Upriver course.Had to play the 700 yd longer front side today .They were fertilizing the back 9 greens
Started out strong with a bird then on # 7 took a damn triple bogie had to recover on last 2 holes with pars to " save " a 42. Golf keeps ya humbled

Buddy of mine just got back from playing a tourney in Scotland.
His exact words, "golf is hard over there". LOL

Made a nice birdie putt on 10 yesterday, then just barely lipped out another on the 11th hole. Had 4 footer for par after a nice bounce off the edge of the trap on 12 & 3 jacked it by hitting it thru the break then brain farted leaving the next one short for the only dang double. Coulda been a contender. Another 83, 43-40.
Most cars I’ve seen in the parking lots without a tournament going on due to it being Father’s Day. Twas a great day for a walk.

What a beast of a course,(Oakmont)the only person under par after 4 days was the winner and only because he sank an incredible 40 plus foot birdie on the eighteenth hole!
