The Sand Trap: for Players, Hackers and Duffers

Just back from round #2. Shot 42 : 3 pars , the rest bogies and another damn double

Hybrids were on fire ,new irons were better today still need work dialing in distances per club but had some decent shots , putting was good
..still only getting carry on drives course still wet on 4 of 9 holes.

But nice day 60 and sunny but breezy off the St Larry. ⛳

Nice round Tski !!!

just back from a 41 today with a birdie on a 34 ' putt, but another darn double bogie . Ugh couda been a contendah ⛳😉

Played the inland course today for the first time sunny hi 60's with a steady stiff breeze .shot a 40 with a bird and 3 pars an another double bogie . Driving today was weak putting was strong, still struggling with new irons.

Strangely enough this course is extremely dry ,greens were brown / burned unlike The River Course which although only 10 miles apart was extremely wet . River course had carts back on it today but was extremely crowded with league play

Same here today as only walked 9 as the drizzles were incoming when we made the turn for a 43.
Double came from a 3 wood on a down hill lie after a nice drive that was topped straight down into the soft fairway. Wrong club then and then wrong club into the green side trap, Should woulda coulda been a contender.

Walked 18 yesterday with some scratch golfers who played the tips. Holy moly were they good players. They play a game which I’m not currently familiar & hit the shit outta it. Great around the greens & good guys to boot.

Doesn't look good weather wise here till next week. Maybe it's a good thing . It gives my pulled calf muscle from walking hilly stuff last Thursday in Vermont time to heal
