The Indy Pass

Yeah, I understand that’s his focus. I’m saying it’s wrong. He doesn’t have to do rah rah, check out my sick footy coverage of the pros. He could dive into the details of trying to make a living as what’s essentially an independent contractor in a nebulous inconsistent industry. There are lots of nuts and bolts details and issues that people would find interesting. CEOs, GMs and marketing guys can get boring and repetitive. Some of them are great- I always love Doug Fish- but some of them are just robots. Interestingly the guy who runs Big Snow and Mountain Creek was pretty cool too.He was one of the best. I never would have guessed that.

@Stu is doing what makes him happy, now.

He may expand if he feels like he needs more material. Remember he started out as northeast only, expanded to full US and now is in Canada.

He asked me more than once to do the pod, and I resisted. That was more than a year ago, now that he's skiing with Trudeau, I think that ship may have sailed. :)

I’m starting a YouTube channel. First episode is you, Stu and Skiology Matt doing a one hour round table. Can you help make it happen?

It's always up to me to rent the track huh.

If you could succeed at getting those people in room, you'd need proper attire.

What caught my eye in the article, which was written by someone who has skied at Tyrol.

" . . .
The ski area is opening tomorrow, June 3rd, for rope tow served park skiing in the summer sun.
. . .
Tyrol is quite small (the vertical is only about 300 feet) but the local skiing and snowboarding community is strong. The June Jam is a testament to that.

I wouldn't be surprised if well over 100 skiers/riders showed up to the event tomorrow."

I snagged an Indy Pass early on. Plan to use it in more than one region. Sampling the midwest is part of the plan for the 2023-24 season. Picked up a heated boot bag on sale since I'll drive instead of fly for that ski safari.
If your plans include Caberfae Peaks let me know and I would love to show you around

On my list. Would be great to meet up. :)

Considering staying in Cadillac to check out Crystal and Caberfae. I've heard that folks from Chicago like Crystal so I'm curious.

I'll be in touch after I get a better idea which week is going to work best.
