What a spectacular area.

Is pic # 3 the Trap Dike (I think that's what it is called)? Looks pretty hairy from that angle.

A friend left his Altai Hok’s for me to try a couple years ago on the bump behind the house.
Didn’t have boots to fit the bindings correctly but gave ‘em a try anyway.
I'm also clueless to tele but have cross-country skied years ago.
He bought another pair of them later on. Might get correct boots and give them another try.
Looks like simple good fun.

Nice video and I like his attitude. That has been exactly my experience with the Hoks. You have to be careful when you start moving downhill on steeper terrain, as it is almost like they suddenly come up on plane and you really start moving. Holy crap, I'd better make a turn!
