A lot of people showed up. I saw on IG they may schedule another day. Unfortunately, there is a lot of work to be done that requires more than volunteers and loppers. Hopefully they can get it done in time

Our first volunteer day was a huge success! We had an amazing turn out and couldn’t believe the huge impact made on our clean up efforts around the hill. We will be hosting a 2nd volunteer day to continue the progress and get ready for our season. We will meet in between the main parking lot and wax house lodge once again at 10am.

Here is a list of helpful tools to bring with you if you can;
-Loppers
-Chainsaws (for qualified operators)
-Work Gloves
-Boots, be prepared for muddy wet conditions
-Weed wackers
-Water bottle
-Trailers if you are interested in taking fire wood that you collect
-PPE
-Broadcast seeder for spreading grass seed
We will be providing lunch for all volunteers in the Wax House at 12:30pm!

The downed chairs were cleared up during the Sept. 9 volunteer work day. Sounds like there will be one more volunteer work day.

There will be a motorcycle race fundraiser on Sept. 23.

"We are hosting a 100 mile Motorcycle Ride for the Ridge this fall as a fundraiser for the devastating damage done by the tornado on August 7th. The ride is $20/person, $30 with a passenger, register day of at the hill from 9:30am-11:30am and kick stands will be up at 12pm.

The ride will show case beautiful changing leaves as we make our way around 100 miles of north country roads, ending back at Snow Ridge around 3pm. We will have music, food, and drinks along with auctions, raffles and good times throughout the night! This event is rain or shine! We hope you’ll come out to join us on September 23rd, ride or just for dinner after! Every donation helps us to rebuild our mountain to her former glory and get our lifts turning again this winter!!
