Snow Ridge Tornado

Ugh, small, independant hills already operate on such tight margins. Woods Valley was hit by a tornado back in 2021.

@Robert can you reach out to Nic and ask him what he needs first and what he needs most?

Reminds me of the Butternut tornado. The damage was obvious for years.
I've alway felt that Snow Ridge was wide, but as it should be. Losing all those trees in that way is tough.

The buildings and lifts are expensive but they can be fixed. The trees may "never" come back.

There has got to be some insurance. I have reached out to Scott Brandi (SANY) to see if he has ideas about how to help.

It’s hard to tell from one view of that video but it appears that they were extremely lucky. It looks like there’s minimal damage to infrastructure and no one was hurt or killed? The snapped trees look scary but if the damage is mainly trees that’s great.

Edit: I just read the social media post. Bummer about the lifts.

A horse was killed by a tree nearby. No folks were killed.
