What a difference a day makes--all that pow from yesterday, sealed up under breakable crust. Ah Ice, my medium...

@Harvey would want us to be optimistic--at least the woods are filling in!

That did occur to me. Those trees will be fat after even 6 or 8 inches. That wasn't true before this last snowfall.

GFS is calling for more than that. According to the 240, it's going to be like Gaspe on the Tug:

Ski Mexico!

Got up to Snow ridge today for about an hour and a half. Figured with the cold and high wind snow would be piling up in the woods. Rode the snow pocket the whole time everything was deep in the trees still and mostly untouched. Groomers were pretty good too.

Was that Snow Ridge? Damn, the forecast went from a foot to nothing, wtf, I would've been there had I known. When do the post their conditions report? I'd have to leave at 6:30 to get there at opening. Still, even a bit later would've been worth it. Should've checked their webcam. Put too much faith in NOAA.

@Harvey WE thought we scored at Titus. But that Photo from my friend Evan says he was the real winner. He rode SR on Saturday and Sunday. Pic was from the end of the day Saturday. He said it was bottomless most of the day. Sunday they reported 14" inches and it was bluebird.
