Ski Area To Change Its Name

Worked in the pots and pans and plates area of the dining hall in college for a bit.
There’s always room for jello.
Fact.
A cute coworker went out with a Clarkson hockey player and her dad was a veterinarian in The Tug Hill,
Food fights were fun.
She was nice.

That's great. "qualities prized by the superficial male." Gold, Jerry, gold.

Meh, agree to disagree. Folks are reading into this too much and getting themselves worked up over a name change as if it’s one more step closer towards the world crumbling.

At the end of the day it’s a business, and sensitive committee or not, they felt that was best for them. Say whatever you want about me, but attitudes and norms will always change in time for better or worse, and smart businesses adapt.
THIS ^^^^^^^^

There doesn’t need to be people directly applying pressure. It’s a trend now and the sensitive people are making these decisions. I see it at my work all the time. It’s a generational thing.

If you don’t understand what I’m saying I’m not sure how to better articulate it for you. Maybe it’s possible that you yourself are so entrenched in that culture you don’t see it that way? I don’t know but removing the word suicide and replacing it with a Native American name is definitely what I’m talking about.
You explained it perfectly.
Some folks don't care or understand tradition.

When he was younger, an acquaintance of mine in the adult beverage business tried his hand at semi pro soccer in Portugal (he grew up in the Ironbound neighborhood in Newark). The Portuguese soccer club's idea of a sprint was the length of the soccer field, full gas, 10 times. Ooof-da. I'll stick with my 5 minute uphill intervals at 93% or so of max.
