Late reply but the . only ads that really 'scare' me are the TEMU ads. Possibly a total paranoid myth but I have always considered them the pandora's box I never wanted to open for fear of getting deluged with ads and spam forever!Regarding the advertising issue above ^^ I've moved to a more modern ad serving system (still within the google system) that will allow a greater variety of ads. Theoretically that should help drive a bit more revenue. I am still staying away from the biggest most interuptive ads (see TGR) because IMO it's just too much.
But really ad revenue has dropped every year for the last 5 years because of the increasing use of ad blockers.
There is a way that you can make it so that you can't actually see and read our content if you are using an ad blocker. It seems pretty heavy handed.
I would sincerely appreciate forum members disabling any ad blockers while here. It's called 'whitelisting', you can do it for just one site if you want.
