Oh man that stinks , loosing pictures and nostalgic stuff is tuff. Everything else can be replaced .
Were those nice antlers in the camp toasted?
If not ya could make things outta them for the new place and/or just clean em & put em back up.

Yesterday afternoon was one of the saddest day's I/we have had. We lost a family member, our camp. This year will be like none before, no camp, BUT we will do what we do. We'll be staying in the barn and living our life. Telling our stories, drinking beer and bourbon, playing cards, and talking about all the good times we've had at our beloved camp. [

Geez Camp. Sorry to see this. Glad no humans were hurt.

So sorry to hear Camp. A few years ago we stood next to a guy and watched his camp burn. It was over 2 miles in off the paved road outside Newcomb. Someone drove out to get a signal to call the fire department. Took them an hour to get there. By then it was down to the ground. They just sprayed water around the perimeter to keep it from spreading. Everyone opened up their camps to him for food, drink and a bed. He rebuilt the next year with help from other club members.

Thanks. Ours is a mile off the road w/ no cell service, so even if we were there nothing could've been done.

I will say that rallying together to get our makeshift camp ready for this year has been impressive. Even hunters that don't hunt with us have offered their help to rebuild.
