Platty Next Week?

I bailed. Hate being in ski world when it rains.

So, therefore, it will snow a foot there tonight.
 
And the Cave Mountain motel thanks me for an empty, paid for room. Looked quaint. High marks on Tripadvisor. oh well.
 
For anyone who has swapped a ticket date, did the process go smoothly? Called and left a message yesterday a little around 4:30 PM to switch from Wednesday to Friday. Still waiting for an email confirmation.
 
The reservation system is meant to enable you folks and the mountain to operate under COVID conditions. Canceling and rebooking because you don't like the conditions does a couple of things. First the resort is out the money for that day, second someone who wanted to ski who could not get a ticket is out as well. Emergencies come up, not liking the conditions is not one of them. Just cause you can does not mean you should. For what it is worth, I bet conditions are pretty good.

Hmmm...4:30 may have found an empty office. I called early, and got it all worked out by about 2pm after a few emails, because they were concerned that the day I was transferring to was a cheaper ticket, and I just said, fagetaboutit, it's ok, just switch me over.

Thanks to this thread again for that. I did not know you could get a one time credit for a reserved ticket.

As of last night, it was supposed to sleet/rain there pretty much all day today. I can handle various conditions, but, I hate sleet/rain.

No problems with mine, got my confirmation email. I left my message before 8am.
