Plattekill, NY: Feb 5 2023 Do You Love Your Home Mountain?

I heard she was texting when she went down. Jason can you confirm?

Then as the legend goes, Jason said...

"Texting?! She DESERVES to DIE!!"

Followed by a fiendish laugh and a photo.

It was the year before the new road rools on texting were implemented in NY, so there’s that.

This was the craziest day ever in the cats.
I was there that day. It was definitely crazy. IMO there have been days with better snow. The next day at Belle and the following week was some of the best East Coast conditions I’ve ever skied. Didn’t cross another track for days.

I remember riding up the double with a fanboy who was screaming at a tele guy coming down Plunge thinking, “Who the fuck is Harvey?”

It was cement.

Oddly I think I remember that. My wife doesn't want to ski with me on weekends because of that kind of stuff. You get what you get, I get that. But not a fan of being shouted at from the lift.

Here's the tale:

Storm Riley? Or a different storm? I’ll keep this souvenir forever!

No Riley was ANOTHER storm where Plattekill skunked the rest of the Cats!

That was potentially the best ski day of my life.
