The DRAFT minutes of the most recent meeting are out.
This is text from Draft minutes.I have no idea how one gets a board to "commit funds" without stating, for the record, the amount of cash needed and what it's going to be used for.
ORDA governance is a mystery to me.
I'm not sure what rules govern ORDA meetings, but other agencies don't publish documents until after the meeting. I'm thinking the amounts they were committing were stated in documents, which may be available publicly a few days after the meeting. That's how the agencies I'm familiar with operate.I have no idea how one gets a board to "commit funds" without stating, for the record, the amount of cash needed and what it's going to be used for.

Obviously you know nothing of the past, so go ahead and give Mike a pat on the back. Mike is the epitome of many a state workers (and now an ORDA Authority CEO-meaning NO STATE OVERSIGHT), through and through; show me the money!!Doesn’t make him a bad man. C’mon man.
Yup, relatively new to what’s been up at Gore and ORDA. Sounded like he knew more about snowmaking than the last ORDA CEO appointed, Patrick Barrett of Avis fame.Obviously you know nothing of the past, so go ahead and give Mike a pat on the back. Mike is the epitome of many a state workers (and now an ORDA Authority CEO-meaning NO STATE OVERSIGHT), through and through; show me the money!!
He'll tell you everything that you want to hear, and do exactly the opposite as long as it benefits him.
