Michigan Conditions

Not planning to make the drive to Mt Bohemia but found this recent video by Shaggy's that is the best introduction to the place I've seen yet. Covers the glades and less steep sections, along with plenty of shots of folks jumping off stuff in the woods.

Went to Crystal on Sunday and mage use of one of my three free lift tickets from my pass at Caberfae. Great soft groomed snow to start the day with a temp of 30. After 12 o’clock the snow was still a nice cream cheese like snow, but it had become like Velcro. It was still a good day and Crystal still has a good 2-
4 feet of snow on the ski hill.

The Highlands is getting a new lift next season. Boyne has put a lot of Money into lifts the past few season all over the country.

Glad I had a chance to ride the old lift. It definitely felt long but since it wasn't that cold and I was in "tourist mode" I could enjoy the 11 min ride. A 7-min ride will be better, especially with conveyor loading so that beginners and intermediates can have an easier time loading and the lift can run at an optimal speed.
