23 years ago I settled on MSO, no reason to leave now.
Same, but only 19 years ago. Although the current rate of influx of people is disturbing. I'm hoping it cools off soon.23 years ago I settled on MSO, no reason to leave now.
Montana has a problem..It seems like a great place to live!! I would pack up and move to Boz tomorrow..Same, but only 19 years ago. Although the current rate of influx of people is disturbing. I'm hoping it cools off soon.
Yep, Bozeman is one of the fastest growing "micropolitan" cities (under 50,000) in the country. May not be considered in that size category after 2022.Montana has a problem..It seems like a great place to live!! I would pack up and move to Boz tomorrow..
I'm moving to a mountain town in a few years. I sincerely hope to be accepted there.Same, but only 19 years ago. Although the current rate of influx of people is disturbing. I'm hoping it cools off soon.
MC I don't have the motivation to go back to the archives to find it, but I thought you had a specific destination in mind out west.SLC has the best skiing & most options, but I wouldn’t want to live there.
I guess GJT & REV out west, BTV & GYX in the east. ALY for convenience right now.
There were a number of people here who made a point of telling me they were natives. It's like a huge deal. Which I didn't get. Because the actual natives are not these folks, it's the Native Americans. Really, it's only their grandparents who had the sense to move here, why should these folks get any credit? My forebears went back to the 17th century in PA and I never went around telling people about it. But I got a lot of that when I first arrived.I'm moving to a mountain town in a few years. Did you feel resistance when you moved in?
