Hunter Conditions

Sounds like both D-Lift and Highlands Poma have spun their last laps.

Wow, how sad to see D-lift go. Lots of great memories on that chair. Hot laps on Times Square to Racers with those slabby side hits. It had such a cool liftline with those huge cliffs that were hucked only in big years.

Yep it was a way to avoid the 6 pack and lap Ike and racers
F vail and hunter

Psyched that Hunter will open tomorrow. Had been planning to head to Belleayre, but longer and overall steeper runs (except the Seneca headwall) at a place I have a pass is welcome news for this currently unemployed skier.

Hunter is opening tomorrow with one run. Belleayre is open today with 25% of their acreage.
Yeah Belle pretty much doubled what they announced would be open - nice surprise

But with both an Epic Local and Indy+ pass I plan to ski on my passes when it is an option

Had a real fine time at Hunter yesterday. Skied right on to the Flyer for each of the 9 runs I took before Day 1 legs said “Enough!”. Pretty wall to wall soft but not too soft coverage on Hellgate on down.

No signs of any snowmaking elsewhere on the mountain so it is safe to say this run will be all that is available through November

Me and @Steve A met up at Hunter today. One way down but it was wall to wall and deep. Skied under the guns all day and my legs are toast. Good stuff

Belt should be open soon

Anyone got an idea whether Belt will be open tomorrow? Trying to decide between Hunter and Belleayre and if only one open run conditions will deteriorate faster.
