Junior took a hit last night, got his bell rung hard enough that he lost 30- 60 minutes and had to go to the ER. No fracture or brain bleeding but he’s definitely concussed and gonna get a new helmet. He was goofier then normal when I picked him up but seems normal now. Still has no memory of what happened and just the slightest bruise on his forehead, no aches or pains on shoulders or back. Nobody witnessed the fall. He skied down unassisted but his friends could tell he was off so he went to the patrol shack.

Is his helmet cracked? Do you think he was hit by another skier? Hope this is his first concussion.

Glad he is ok , last week had a 19 yr old here on break from College was at Sunday River with his buddies no helmet , high speed accident on a Green

The kid ended up in emergency surgery (Craniotomy ) ,still in hospital in Maine with induced coma . It was a ,pretty horrific accident went into a gully , hit a tree , luckily he was seen falling into the gully so was airlifted 50 miles to hospital
