Has anyone here ever skied Revelstoke?

Have never been; but just watched this interesting Revelstoke Diaries documentary on Amazon Prime

I am going to fly into Vancouver from Montreal before going to Seattle, but the day-long drive to Revelstoke looks to be pretty scenic, so that won't bother me. After a few days in the clouds, I'd head over to Calgary and the trip back to Montreal.
The drive from Revelstoke to Banff (around Rogers Pass) is as spectacular as it gets. I highly recommend doing it during the day, especially with good weather - for both scenery and so you don't drop off a thousand foot cliff. Scenery includes glaciers, train trestle bridges high up the mountainside, avalanche tunnels, time zone change, etc.

If you time it correctly, at the Spiral Tunnels you can see a train entering one side and, at the same time, exiting the other side. As named, the tunnel spirals inside the mountain, providing a more gentle grade for the train to climb.

It's 4 hours or so from Revelstoke to Calgary. 6.5 hours from Van to Revelstoked. As I recall, the Coquihalla highway is about a 3 hour continuous climb.

Might be difficult to go to Revelstoke and/or BC for a bit.

Revy and other resorts can still be accessed from Calgary or even Kamloops. However, travel from Van to interior BC (or vice versa) will take a bit longer this season. Whistler via the Sea-to-Sky Hwy was not impacted.

The Coquihalla—the main route east/west from the Lower Mainland to the interior—was severely damaged. Big chunks were washed away or buried. Plan accordingly if coming via Van!

Yup. Best coming in from not Vancouver..
30 liters per fill for ya for a bit.
Stay safe.
The government also has prohibited non-essential travel on sections of highways 99, 3 and 7.
Transportation Minister Rob Fleming said vehicles transporting essential products or delivering vital services can use the highways. So can people returning to their principle residents after being stranded.
“It is not open to recreational or non-essential travel,” he said.
