Has anyone here ever skied Revelstoke?

My 2022 plans have already shifted, as I know have a family event in Seattle in early March, 2022. With my IKON pass in tow, I'm thinking of ditching the WA spots, over-run by Seattle area traffic, for the wilds of BC. I am going to fly into Vancouver from Montreal before going to Seattle, but the day-long drive to Revelstoke looks to be pretty scenic, so that won't bother me. After a few days in the clouds, I'd head over to Calgary and the trip back to Montreal.

Is Revelstoke worth that trouble?

They lost credibility with me when they bitched about Air Canada.

I went 2 years ago. Yes its a bitch getting there..yes AIr Canada sux..yes its worth going. Its pretty much 4000 vert of tree skiing on top of 2000 vert of runout. The best thing we did was book a 2 day tour for about 200 bucks. We skied the whole place including the back bowl which was knee deep. I would go back.

Air Canada is like American and United, so I understand the angst. I actually flew WestJet the last time I flew domestic up north, and they were fine.

Revelstoke does seem like a pain, but my wanderlust is off the charts right now.

It's great skiing. If you are crossing border thou, good luck with that, you won't get across.
