Fast Tracks: Paying to Cut the Line

I've been there multiple President's Weekends and one MLK. Do some lines get long? Yes. Did I avoid them for the most part? Also yes.
A few people have made comments along the lines of: "If you know the mountain you know how to avoid the lines". That's only somewhat true. Yes you can lap the Canyon Quad, but on a busy holiday weekend it may still take you over an hour to get to it. This might make it worse. Last time I was at K the line for the Bear Mountain Triple was 20 minutes +

Not sure if you mean Bear Mtn Quad - the triple was replaced summer 1984.

There is no Bear mountain triple.

Ski the trees. Fixed.

I'll paraphrase something I heard about traffic. It isn't other skiers that's the problem, if you find yourself in a line like that, you're the problem, too.

I haven’t skied at Killington since 91 but even then the weekend crowds were WAY too much. I don’t know how people enjoy skiing on runs with hundreds of people everywhere.
I was out there with a buddy some time ago on a Saturday under that spot where the gondola, Skye Peak, and Superstar all unload almost next to each other, and he said, damn, it's like skiing in Japan.

Yeah. Incredibly well expressed crank.
