Fast Tracks: Paying to Cut the Line

Ain’t nobody cutting in line ahead of these folks for first chair at Abasin opening day, just saying.

There is no question in my mind, that, for reasons I don't understand, the price of a lift ticket matters WAY more to skiers than the price of gas, tolls, gear, beer and all of it. I'm not sure why. But it's true.

It doesn't make the person in the fastpass line a jerk.

Everybody claims to be a capitalist, until capitalism does something they don't like.
I’m still steaming over paying 7.50 for a six pack of PBR and 5 bucks a gallon for gas in California.

Cedar Fair parks have a system called Fast Lane. It's just a wristband that gives you unlimited access to the Fast Lane entrance at any included ride. There is no electronic reservation. This means your wait time is based on the number of Fast Lane users, rather than the wait time of the regular line. Like Flash Pass, there is a merge point, but unlike Flash Pass it alternates 50:50 with the regular line, so you don't get an almost immediate ride. In fact, if it's a super busy day with lots of Fast Lane users, you might have to wait upwards of 30 minutes.
I was at Cedar Point yesterday and the fast pass is $159.00 a person. Looked like it cut your time in half, and no I did not buy one. I am not in favor of any ski area getting a fast pass, luckily where I ski the most still use a color of the day ticket with the date printed on it. I don't them ever going to a fast pass

The outdoor community has always been open and inclusive ---this destroys that. Corporatization eventually ruins most things.

They 100% lied to you.
I'm 100% sure you are correct. I made it clear I would have the truck paid down in 3 years regardless of what the load term was, fortunately they can't knock you for accelerating your payments. But I was not presented a single loan under 96 months. Who the fuck is actually paying for a new car for 144 months.. (yes that was an option presented). Seems as predatory as balloon mortgages.
