With the storm losing power after moving inland and continuing to move northwest steadily, the ongoing rain and wind continues to raise rivers to flood levels and bring down large trees on power lines in NC. But no comparison to the massive destruction that Hurricane Ian did in Florida coming ashore as a Cat 4 storm with winds over 150 mph.
At least 4 inches of rain at my house in the last 15 hours. Still raining steadily but supposed to stop by morning.

It’s wordy but, "Better conditions are anticipated at ski slopes in New York and across New England where more frequent snow is anticipated. Resorts in Vermont and New Hampshire could end up being the best places to ski this winter across the eastern U.S. due to a boost from natural snowfall."
