Dinner is ...

Seared tuna and beans sauteed with evoo, butter and basil. I got the bean recipe years ago when I was kitchen help at a fancy French restaurant outside of Ithaca. I also learned that I don't like sweet breads (innards) and that turtle soup comes in a can.

It couldn't have been that fancy if the turtle soup came from a can.
I worked in fancy french restaurant in high school and college and the turtle soup came from a live snapping turtle.

Totally burst my bubble about how "fancy" it was. It was just overpriced.

Pretentious shit
Except for some of the rustic dishes
 
Shrimp on the Barbie , chicken flavored rice laced with broccoli , and wax beans , some strawberry lemon Italian Ice for dessert
