Belleayre Conditions

My 18 days at Belleayre, this season, are the most since I have had an Orda pass.
I have had 18 days at Gore in prior seasons. My 18 year Son , my main ski partner, loves Gore , but early early morning rises and weekend sleep overs have become less common with him.
I am glad Belleayre has made all the snowmaking improvements. Had some really fun days there this season.
Last Saturday, I really should have known better.Left after 3 teeth chattering runs. Took a ride to Windham , Hunter and a few ski shops . Came back to Lift 8 about 1pm. Caught 3 patrollers walking out, hit them up on Conditions. Their advice, if you guys want groomers, boot back up, anything else, we’ll?

Yesterday, at least, they were just very icy. Really anything that wasn't corduroy was, for a skier of my somewhat limited ability, a total no-fly zone. Even the sides of groomed trails were sketchy.

Today started off like cement until 10:30
Then the sun came out. It might have been the best day of the season for me.
also maybe 50 pp there today.

The weber grill is sweet. We are 14 years in on ours going back to our brooklyn days. May be time to buy a new one.
It looked cool
It is my buddies friend’s. We had a great tailgate!!

Dreadful conditions today.

Freezing rain, low visibility, some ice. I got stuck on a chair for 10 minutes and then stuck on a gondola for another 10 before I called it a day, then spun out of control on Route 28 on my way home.

Got a nice fire going and I'm delighted to be home.
