Yes they are. My Dad had a pair of the originals. Those things would take a finger off if you got it in the wrong spot. LoL

At the risk of sounding very nerdy, those skis could have been used by that patroller in the 1966 FIS championships in Portillo, maybe even as a forerunner. Jean-Claude Killy took gold in the downhill.
