Yuuuuge day in Falun, Sweden, for the US xc ski team. In the 20 km mass start skate, Gus Schumacher nabs his second career podium, just 0.3 seconds from the win. Falun features one of the most fearsome climbs on the World Cup, the infamous Mörderbakken, or Murder Hill. The only hill Bjorn Dæhlie said he was afraid of.

Diggins takes the win in the women's 20 km skate, and Julia Kern has her best ever finish in a distance race. Things are looking good for the World Championships.

As long as she stays healthy, she may go down as the best racer..ever. And she's not beating stiffs out there, those other ladies are damn good.
