Gore Mountain Conditions

Racing is a big part of ORDA and having had a kid in the program, I think it is worth it. They get collegiate racing, High School and a lot of It brings money to the mountain and those kids can rip. Right Cork? I think she'll be back Friday. I'm coming tomorrow
Anyone been up since Monday? Curious how things are skiing after the bit of niar Monday and today's snow. Debating between Gore and WF for the weekend. Looks like more snow for Gore Sunday...but WF is going to get some upslope that Gore won't tomorrow.
i am here now and it is fantastic. Fresh snow and pretty empty. I did beat my ski bottoms up a bit but it was worth it. Stopping at Alpine for prep on the way home. Not done yet. Today will be a bell to bell day

Indeed my friend! Unfortunately the powers that be that planned Burnt Ridge only cared about racing, and not about the public... 🤷‍♂️

Looks like upper cloud is getting noontime ratnik ❄️ attention in the wind.

From Ski Conditions report
"NOTE 12:07 PM –
The High Peaks Quad is spinning again! The Northwoods Gondola and Topridge Triple are currently on wind hold. Access to the summit is available via Wood In. Stay tuned for updates and thank you for your patience.

We finished Thursday with 4-5 inches of fresh snow to refresh the mountain – setting us up for a great weekend! "

I was one of the first ones up top. Skiing was great today all over.

Low angle trees are sweet and anything that gets groomed tonight will be fantastic.

I'm at a different mountain tomorrow (family thing), so those of you hitting Gore please enjoy it! It's really good.

Never got to the top today. Burnt Ridge was good. Sagamore was good if you stuck to the natural snow edges. Echo was excellent behind the B fences on the skiers' right. Boreas was ROTD.

They're still staying with broccoli cheese soup. It'll probably be there until we finish it. It's like my mom is running the kitchen.

Anyone know why Burnt Ridge and the interconnect where closed this afternoon? Heading up for tomorrow and hoping it just a temporary thing. Per snow report:
NOTE 2/8 12:00pm: Burnt Ridge Area and Burnt Ridge Quad will be temporarily closed. During this time the Interconnect between the Ski Bowl and Burnt Ridge is closed. Check back for updates. Thank you for your patience.
