ICE v Electric: Cost and Emissions

Are there any hybrids that blow warm air from the gas engine onto the batteries to improve their performance in the cold?

Don’t know why they would. Why do you think they might?
Combination of the type of people who are around for skiing versus a private wedding at a mountain, plus charging up on a snowy, cold day if not really needed would be a bit of a pain. Where I've seen chargers at ski resorts, they are trying to avoid people just parking there all day. So have to move the car once it's charged. Especially on a weekend.

Have used the Plattekill ones a couple times for quick charges when we were going to get home under 5% and they are great! There are also similar ones at New Baltimore. Easy pay via credit card and decent charging speeds. Only downside is price ($0.64/kWh), but I'm happy to pay that for the convenience.

Listed as 350 kW, but was maxing around 100 when car should have been pulling more (and some plugshare reports said same).

Ha! I was talking about Plattekill Service Area down by Newburgh, but now I realize you meant the ski area...duh. Have not tried the ones at in Roxbury, only on the Thruway!

That makes sense. Cuz I was like platt put $100,000 in high-speed chargers. On a side note, it's funny how Tesla can put in chargers for $26,000 and evolve New York it cost $140,000
