Not any at Bethpage State Park but like to play the Green Lakes State Park course. The greenskeeper at Green Lakes came up from Bethpage. It’s always a treat to go there and play ⛳.

Tirolski you got some selection of tracks

Played all of those shown on the map ya posted.
Calvalry Club is sweet with huge greens. Their pro is from The Island and is a good dude.
The Links at Erie Village is relatively new and winds through a kinda new development. It too is fun.
Olde Oak used to be called Towne Isle and we played The Swamp Open at it just before Easter a few times. It’s flat. Haven’t played it in at least 30 years.

There’s lots of golf courses in CNY. Grass grows well here if it rains enough.

What do you consider the best trac out there that is open to the public T?

Green Lakes by far for the price. Have heard tis kinda hard to getta tee time though.
If yer a high roller the Oneida Nation’s Atunyote is super duper. Ya can get a tee time EZ peasy. They’re glad to take yer money.
Enjoie in Endicott NY is a great public course to boot. The BC Open (Senior Tour) plays there every year.

There are a lot of nice courses around the area to play without driving too far.

Folks were demo-ing a couple robot mowers the last couple days.
Saw 1 cutting around the rough around the first tee and the other was crisscrossing a couple fairways.

They’re Husqvarna, quiet as a church mouse, with just a little whirling sound heard if yer right next to it.

Twas very brisk this am on The River course 50 degrees with a 15:mph breeze .

Played terrible could not putt well at all, muffed 2 drives ended up with a 45.

I need some serious practice on the green as of late ,just missing too many opportunities .

All that said was really nice to get out . Can't play rest of the week have 4 hr immunotherapy infusion Wed first one since early July and lab work tomorrow hoping critical benchmarks have not regressed.
