Bro in law and I both shot 38s today and ironically both had birds on same hole .
He chipped in from 40 yds and I sunk a 47 foot putt we laffed neither one of us expected that .
He and our extended family from Manhattan and Concord Mass are here now for Seaway Festival week .
Lots of fun ,cookouts and River fun since last Tuesday. They'll be here till Friday so a few more rounds are scheduled

Ugh my BIL and I both had a horrible rounds yesterday,We both had 45s with 3 doubles a piece .
Played a longer course inland ,there has been so little rain since June the fairways are brown and yellow and the lies are very tight so it's weird almost have to bump n run approaches. No excuses we both were just not playing well and struggled .
That said twas a great time lots laffs
Half the gang has returned to Manhattan and CNY , The Concord crew is here till Friday. One of the nieces who's from Fla is having a baby shower she and her husband are Dr and Nurse and this is first GG on my SILs side so big "who ha " is on for Thursday at nice place on The St Larry.
Fun times I'm wearing out my car for daily to grocery runs
my job is easy The Queen has the tough one cooking for 12 for 12 days ....today's Barbie ,last nite one the Grand daughters who is a gourmand fixed up a slew of Lasagna a northern Italian version I've never had b4 it was zesty.
My waistline is under siege this week but What the Hell

Played today is sub tropical conditions man it's humid ! shot my average a so so 40 but needed a bird on last hole to pull it off . My approaches still do not bite .gotta figure it out .

Played 18 today and had 10 4’s in a row starting on the 6th hole. All pars except made bogey on 2 par 3’s in that stretch. Then bogeyed the last 3 holes. Coulda been a contender. Picking a lot of blueberries doesn’t seem to hurt my golf game.
Also drove the cart for my friend who shot a 41-38 for a 79 at 98 and a half years young.
It was his 2nd full 18 hole round for this year.
