The Sand Trap: for Players, Hackers and Duffers

Well I sucked big-time today ,I blew 5 par opportunities with crappy approaches shot a 41 but poor club selection killed any chance of sub forty round today.

Gonna go back to my old irons ,just not getting distance from the new lighter weight ones .

Just gotta keep after it, did decide to return to My Callaway XR 15 adjustable driver at 12 degrees after messing With Cobra . Today in comparison the Callaway 12was 27 yds longer on average than the Bio Cell 12 degree

Last Friday had Callaway at 13 degrees and the Bio Cell at 12 and the Bio Cell was 11 yds better on average

I'm thru experimenting dammit 🥸

Been almost 3 months since I chimed in and I am in an ecstatic mood which I’ve needed a boost. Grandson got married in southern Idaho, I have a beautiful cowgirl granddaughter, have a new attitude to getting back on sticks after a 3 year hiatus and played a really cool golf course IN Snake River canyon.
The highlight of the Canyon Springs, Twin Falls was the scenery of course.
Check out this review of Canyon Springs Golf Course on Tripadvisor: https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUse...yon_Springs_Golf_Course-Twin_Falls_Idaho.html

Well, I did not wanna make a trip report out being we were going to Sun Valley in the summertime so I’ll put it on here with the summertime golfing went up to Stanley Idaho and looked around Sun Valley but the tram or gondola rather chairlift summer. I was not operable yet. We were about a week early for that so very beautiful sawtooth mountains, and a trip down to city of rocks right along the state line with Nevada and Utah is kind of worth seeing also when you look at the trip reports hear from everybody. It really excites me to want to get out and ski the little places like Palmer Pomerelle and Magic Mountain and soldier and of course the big dog but here’s some pictures. Actually the flights into Sun Valley Haley are not that bad so we’ll be visiting.

Great pictures!
A couple of interesting things about the first chairlift. It was Averell Harriman, head of the Union Pacific railroad, future Governor of New York and key figure in developing Whiteface, who wanted to create a destination resort at Sun Valley to increase ridership on the railroad. A company engineer based in Nebraska (of all places) was the designer of the world’s first chairlift.
