Doing a ski safari in Idaho. Just spent two days skiing Dollar Mountain and Bald Mountain at Sun Valley. Using Indy to check out Tamarack and Brundage north of Boise in the next few days.

Decided on Alta today. Don’t think that Devil’s Castle was open yesterday so if I’m lucky I’ll find some decent powder turns. 4.5’ since Monday, even leftovers are gonna be great!

Eh sorry didn't see this. How did you like sugarbush?

Anyway Saturday at Sugarbush was better than I anticipated. I thought it was good sugar snow and edgeable early, especially upper mountain. We were on the super bravo express at 835. However by early afternoon the areas on Lincoln were getting wind blown and icy and the wife said she was done. We were at Lawson’s by 230.

We only skied Saturday. All in all a great weekend.

This weekend I'll use one of my two last passes at Bristol unless I can get one of my kids to join me. Forecast is 66. It's supposed to rain Sunday. I'm running out of time to use my last Bristol passes.

Beyond that I might not ski again till April 2nd when we're in Banff for a week.

Catamount - Tuesday (9-11 before I go to work)
Gore - Wednesday (following 8:30am eye doctor appt in Latham)
Catamount - Thursday (9-11 before I go to work)
? ? ? ? ? ? ? - Friday (will be either Belleayre, Gore, or stay local at Catamount) will be my 50th ski day for the year.

Kind of like the idea of Gore on Friday since it will be my 50th ski day of the season and Gore Mountain is the first place I ever skied, which could possibly be 50 years ago. Unsure of how old I was, but I was a Boy Scout in Port Chester, NY Troop 11 when we went to Gore for the weekend. Fact is it was a long time ago for sure.
