It would've been interesting had they included studded snows in their testing as well. Just grab the ebrake in the corners and she'll come around
not with these newfangled electronic ebrakes - they are a fail for corner funIt would've been interesting had they included studded snows in their testing as well. Just grab the ebrake in the corners and she'll come around

FKNA!I went to winter rally school in NH we had one day of classroom work where they went over tires a lot. The compound of the rubber is the biggest thing they stressed. All season tires were considered "what season tires" they do OK in most road conditions but suck in the winter when they are cold and take time to get some heat in them. Winter tires are designed for cold temps and snow/ice but drive them above 45/50F and they start to wear very fast. One of the best things ive ever done was find a wrecked model of my car in the junk yard and buy a set of winter tires and just swap them around the end of nov. Wheels and tires were $1500 but peace of mind and my rest of the year tires last that much longer.
The other thing they stressed was weight transfer of the car watch this
Ill tell you this though...after 3 days of school I felt like I could go to this
