Would you quit skiing for $1,000,000?

If SKIING isn't your favorite passion (gasp!) let us know what is your true love. And vote based on that.

With regard to skiing, it includes all skiing, riding, alpine, nordic, bc, roller, whatever.

What say you? Vote and let us know your thinking in the thread.

Edit: The $1,000,000 is after taxes. ?

I'll stick with hunting and riding sled
If hunting and riding sled is more important then that is your question.

Did you notice that it's possible for someone to change their vote?

I had a choice way back. Being in NC, delving more deeply into horseback riding would've been the easier approach. But I didn't as a teen and young adult, even though my mother supported the idea. She even got me a job at a stable one summer when I was in high school. I had a similar choice when my daughter was old enough for ski or riding lessons. By then I'd already retired early to spend more time with her and my aging parents. Since she loved skiing on Day 1 at Massanutten Ski School, I picked skiing. Completely made sure she'd stay a skier by taking her to Alta Lodge when she was a tween. No regrets.

Now that I've found a small but growing group of ski and travel buddies, no way would I stop skiing. Would make my non-skiing husband happy but he'll just have to put up with this passion for another 20+ years.

I thought I had said no to that but I guess not.
