Winter Weather 22/23

Seriously this is getting to be a nitemare thankfully heat has stayed on we have plenty of food and drink at the house (65 miles down river from Tibitts Point where Lake Ontario enters the St Lawrence,) but people in town can't even get across town to be with their relatives tonight that's how bad this is.

County continues to be shut down to all but emergency traffic. We have 38 windows in our home every one of them is just plastered with snow I mean literally it's hanging on the screens. I have 140 ft driveway I cannot see my garage at the end of it from the house

beginning to look like a scene from the movie Dr Zhivago

For sure I'm not getting the weather that @Warp daddy is getting, but it was 4 above zero this morning... being in the attic, heat doesn't make it up here. A pipe froze this morning, now electric is out in one room. Running 2 space heaters and the oven is on. Thankful, however, that I'm sleeping indoors.

Stay safe all and count yer blessings

Damn @Warp daddy. I hope all of that craziness has passed. Take a shot of whiskey if it has, two if it hasn’t.

Thanks all ,I been dealing with rapid heart rate for a week ,my BP is fine but resting heart rate is outside normal rate so can't use snow blower..

Saw my Dr Tuesday did some tests upped my meds but rate hasn't come down appreciably Have another appointment Tuesday sure hope I can get out

. I asked friend with a plow truck to plow me out Monday .

My spirits are good but this maelstrom couldn't have come at a worst time .

Be well out there guys and take a run for me huh ☺️

Feel better!!!!

I was planning on skiing Dry Hill today.

Boo the new owner told me "sure we're opening, if the roads aren't closed."

When I went to bed (and when I woke up) the Dry Hill webcam was showing full nuke.

The forecast overnight was for 11-19 inches, and with my electronics fried by that bird(?) or whatever, I decided to bail, and ski McCauley. Worked out well, but still haven't skied Dry Hill.
