Everything was iced over - they got nothing but freezing rain and sleet overnight We did 3 runs and called it quits. Total bummer. The only redeeming thing was that they gave everyone full refunds. Will hit Gore tomorrow and maybe Sunday too. Couldn't decide if I should post in the F Vail or weather section, but figure since they gave us a refund I can't complain about Vail only the band of weather that kept Mt. Snow in the shit zone.

In the Cats just some heavy frozen, little balls of ice or snow, don't know how it will ski, when it gets sorted out
 
But, wait! There's more! Sub zero wind chill in CNY through mid day Sunday. Seriously??? Why do we get the craptastic weather on the weekends and nice ski days during the week???
 
In case anyone is wondering, I finally made it to ABQ today. Morning DAL-ABQ flight was cancelled but by going to the airport by 10:30, I was able to get on the 1:40 flight. There were only 2-3 empty seats . . . and I was in a row with an empty middle seat. :)

I don't know, partly sunny and 28° Sunday, sounds like excellent ski weather to me.

If it makes you feel any better, it was pretty damn tough. It was hard driving in the rain for three hours, it was hard driving in the sleet for an hour and a half, and then when I got to the snow around Lake George, it was actually the "easy" past. When I got here to North River, the drive up our road in 6 to 8 unplowed... might be some of the best driving I've ever done. A miracle I didn't get stuck.
