No doubt, that's what we've been getting every day. It used to snow 2, tree inches everyday. Not the past couple of years, though. One good LE effect storm and continued cold, we're back in business. Shit can change quick.

Sad. I'm beginning to wonder if our winters are hosed forever. Year after year winter is warmer and warmer, shorter and shorter. 67 degrees in Kodiak Alaska. Blasted 10 degrees past previous record.

I read that was 20 past the record.

Yup the flip side is the record snow and cold on the west coast, it’s all balance expect the warmth is outrunning the cold

Maybe it's time for everyone , not just skiers, to begin to do something serious. We can get rid of the political deniers who have been calling Climate Change a hoax and make every politician tell us what he or she will do to begin to stop the accelerating changes that will not only bankrupt the ski industry but cause unmitigated pain throughout the world. If they won't do anything than vote them out.

When there is no snow in the forecast for the next few days, like almost this whole season so far, I read the NWS ALY longterm forecast. It's pretty deep so I highlight the word "snow" and look for certain language. Those guys would never actually call for snow 7-10 days out but you come to understand when they think chances are decent.

Not seeing much in the way of a change to winter.
